JAKARTA, BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE — Purwakarta Regent Saepul Bahri Binzein releasing the departure of 29 high school/vocational high school students to the TNI Rindam III/Siliwangi Bandung headquarters to undergo a semi-military education program.
“This decision has gone through an in-depth verification process,” the Regent said in Purwakarta, Monday.
In addition to the regent, the teachers and parents of students also took part in the departure of the students to the TNI headquarters.
A total of 29 high school/vocational high school students departed from Kodim 0619 Purwakarta, using buses provided by the Purwakarta Regency Government, to get to the TNI Headquarters Rindam III/Siliwangi Bandung.
He said the students who were dispatched to the TNI headquarters to undergo semi-military education were those who often stayed up late, skipped school, to engaged in promiscuity such as smoking and liquor consumption.

Later, the high school/vocational high school students will take part in education for a fastest two weeks to six months.

Even so, Binzein hopes that students who take part in the semi-military education program can change better before the education period ends.
It was stated, the semi-military education program for naughty students was now welcomed by parents. There are even several parents who come, asking their children to undergo the program.
For this reason, of the 29 high school/vocational high school students who were dispatched to the TNI Headquarters Rindam III/Siliwangi Bandung, there were a number of students from outside Purwakarta, namely from Karawang and Subang.
