Jakarta (BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE) — The Chief of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, General Agus Subiyanto, has implemented a significant reshuffle affecting 52 high-ranking officers (pati), including the Head of the Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS), Lieutenant General Rudianto. Lieutenant General Rudianto has been succeeded by Major General Yudi Abrimantyo, who previously served as the Head of the Strategic Defense Installation Agency (Kabainstrahan) under the Ministry of Defense.
This directive was outlined in the Decree of the Chief of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Number Kep/329/III/2024, signed by General Agus Subiyanto on Friday (22/03/2024), as confirmed by the Chief of TNI Public Information, Major General Nugraha Gumilar, when contacted in Jakarta on Saturday (23/03/2024).
According to the decree, promotions have been granted to several officers, with Major General Yudi Abrimantyo elevated to a higher position. Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Rudianto has been rotated to assume the role of Commander General (Danjen) of the TNI Academy, replacing Rear Admiral Dadi Hartanto, who, in turn, has been rotated to the position of Inspector General (Irjen) of the TNI.
Lieutenant General (Mar) Suhartono, formerly holding the position of Irjen TNI, has been transferred to the Indonesian Navy Headquarters (Mabesal) as a high-ranking officer in preparation for retirement.
Within the Indonesian Navy, several positions have also undergone rotations, including the appointment of Rear Admiral Yoos Suryono Hadi as Commander of the 1st Fleet Command (Pangkoarmada I), succeeding Rear Admiral Yoos Suryono Hadi, who previously served as the Commander of the Naval Staff and Command School (Danseskoal).
Furthermore, Rear Admiral Fauzi, previously serving as the Deputy Commander of the Naval Staff and Command School (Wadan Seskoal), has been promoted to the position of Commander of the Naval Staff and Command School.
Rear Admiral Kisdiyanto, formerly Deputy Head of State Defense Coordination at the Ministry of Coordinating Political, Legal, and Security Affairs, has been reassigned as a Special Staff to the Chief of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL).
His previous position has been filled by Brigadier General Rudy Syamsir, who previously served as the Assistant Deputy Coordinator for Human Rights Coordination in the Ministry of Political, Legal, and Security Affairs.
From the ranks of the Indonesian Air Force, rotations have affected Air Marshal Yuwono Agung Nugroho, who now serves as the Director General of the Military Judiciary and State Administration (Badilmiltun) at the Supreme Court, and Air Marshal Dr. Dr. Ferdik Sukma Wahyudin, who currently holds a permanent teaching position at the Defense University.
Yuwono, previously serving as the Head of the Legislative Regulation Bureau (Karo Turdang) at the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense, was sworn in as the Director General of Badilmiltun by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Muhammad Syarifuddin, at the Supreme Court Building in Jakarta on March 18, 2024.
Meanwhile, Ferdik’s former position as Deputy Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni at the Defense University is now held by Major General Rui F. G. P. Duarte, who previously served as the Head of the Supervisory Unit (Kasatwas) at the National Defense University.
Other high-ranking TNI officers affected by rotations include Lieutenant General Dr. Albertus Budi Sulistya, who previously served as the Head of the RSPAD Gatot Subroto Hospital in Jakarta and now serves as a Special Staff to the Chief of the Army Staff.
A replacement for Budi Sulistya has yet to be appointed by the Chief of the Indonesian National Armed Forces.
Furthermore, Major General Fajar Setyawan, formerly Deputy Head of Emergency Response at the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), has returned to the Indonesian Army Headquarters in preparation for retirement.
Fajar has been succeeded by Brigadier General Lukmansyah, who has been promoted from his previous position as Special Staff to the Army Chief of Staff.
Major General Ilyas Alamsyah, who previously served as the Commander of the XVIII/Kasuari Military Region Command (Pangdam XVIII/Kasuari), has also been rotated to serve as the Chief of Staff (Kas) of the Army Strategic Reserve Command (Kostrad).
Ilyas replaces Major General Farid Makruf, who now serves as an Expert Analyst in the Field of Natural Resource Management at the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas).
The Chief of the Indonesian National Armed Forces has also promoted Major General Haryanto, formerly the Commander of the 2nd Infantry Division (Pangdivif) of Kostrad, to the position of Pangdam XVIII/Kasuari.
Brigadier General Anton Yuliantoro has been appointed as the new Pangdivif 2 Kostrad, promoted from his previous position as the Logistics
Assistant to the Chief of Staff of Kostrad (Aslog Kas Kostrad).
Changes have also occurred within the leadership of other divisions of Kostrad, with Brigadier General Bangun Nawoko replacing Major General Choirul Anam as the Commander of the 3rd Infantry Division (Pangdivif 3 Kostrad).
Choirul Anam, in turn, has been appointed as the Inspector (Ir) of Kostrad.
Furthermore, Major General Yanuar Adil, formerly the Commander of the II/Sriwijaya Regional Military Command (Pangdam II/Sriwijaya), now serves as a Third Level Expert Staff Officer (Pa Sahli) to the Army Chief of Staff.
Yanuar has been succeeded by Major General Moh. Naudi Nurdika, who previously served as the Commander of the Field Artillery Center (Danpussenarmed).
The position of Chief of the Army Equipment Center (Danpuspalad) is now held by Brigadier General R. D. Epi Setiadi, who previously served as the Deputy Chief of Danpuspalad. Epi replaces Major General Kuswara Harja, who is preparing for retirement.
Additionally, several Military Resort Commanders (Danrem) have been rotated, including the appointment of Brigadier General Krido Pramono as the Commander of the 052/Wijayakrama Military Resort Command (Danrem 052/Wijayakrama) in West Jakarta, previously held by Brigadier General Putranto Gatot Sri Handoyo, who has been appointed as the Commander of the Field Artillery Center (Danpussenarmed) by the Chief of Staff.
Colonel Mohammad Andhy Kusuma, formerly the Commander of the 071/Wijayakusuma Military Resort Command (Danrem 071/Wijayakusuma) under the IV/Diponegoro Regional Military Command (Kodam IV/Diponegoro), has been promoted to the position of Head of the Military Procurement Center (Kapusada) of the TNI.
Colonel Mohammad Andhy Kusuma is one of eight colonels who have been promoted to higher positions within the latest rotation, promotion, and mutation decree issued by the Chief of the Indonesian National Armed Forces.
Other colonels who have received promotions include Colonel Abdul Rahman Said, who now serves as the Director of Education at the Army Command and General Staff College (Seskoad), Colonel Albert Simanjuntak, who serves as a Second Level Expert Staff Officer to the Army Chief of Staff in the Environmental Affairs Division, Colonel Tato Hadian, who serves as the Deputy Assistant for Planning and Budgeting (Waasrena) to the Army Chief of Staff in the Planning Division.
Furthermore, Colonel Moch. Erwansjah has been promoted to the position of Director of Assessment and Development (Dirjianbang) at the Army Doctrine, Education, and Training Command (Kodiklatad), Colonel Iwan Setiawan serves as the Deputy Assistant for Personnel (Waaspers) to the Army Chief of Staff in the Personnel Development Division, Colonel Zunan Muchdlori serves as a Second Level Expert Staff Officer in Social Communication to the Chief of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, and Navy Colonel (S) Akhmad Tarmizi serves as a Second Level Expert Staff Officer in Cyber to the Chief of the Indonesian National Armed Forces.
