India (BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE) – In a shocking turn of events, the alleged gang rape incident involving a Spanish-Brazilian tourist couple fell victim to a horrifying attack and rape ordeal at the hands of seven assailants in Dumka District, Eastern India. The incident, which unfolded on Friday (01/03), saw Vicente and Fernanda forced to camp near the scene due to a lack of accommodation.

Local media reported that the tragic incident occurred in Dumka District, Eastern India.
On Friday (01/03), Vicente and Fernanda had to camp near the incident site as they couldn’t find accommodation there.
The couple was then attacked by seven individuals who robbed and assaulted them. Fernanda was raped while Vicente also suffered injuries.
In an interview with Spanish TV station Antena 3, Fernanda revealed that there were others present during the incident.
“Others were watching [while I was being raped],” Fernanda said.
Fernanda disclosed that seven men raped and robbed them, while Vicente also faced physical violence.
“Seven men raped me. They beat and robbed us. Not much was stolen because what they wanted was to rape me,” Fernanda said in Spanish.
Meanwhile, Vicente claimed to have been hit with a helmet and stones on the head.
The Spanish man stated, “My mouth is destroyed, but my girlfriend suffered worse.”
Around 11 p.m., Fernanda managed to contact a passing police patrol car and was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.
Dumka Police Chief, Pitamber Singh Kherwar, stated that initially, the authorities had difficulty understanding the mixed English and Spanish language used by the couple.
However, the severity of the victims’ injuries prompted their immediate transfer to the hospital on Saturday (02/03).
The doctors attending to them were subsequently informed about Fernanda’s rape.
It is worth noting that Vicente and Fernanda had visited several other Asian countries by motorcycle before arriving in India.
They had uploaded videos on their Instagram account, followed by 234,000 followers, detailing their experiences during their journey.
The video has been removed. Vicente and Fernanda – still bearing bruises on their faces – uploaded a new video thanking the public for the overwhelming support they received after the incident, along with various messages of sympathy and support on social media.
Three of the seven suspects have been arrested. According to Kherwar, one of them has provided information about other perpetrators involved in the incident.
Kherwar added that forensic test results from the laboratory have been instrumental in handling this case.
