JAKARTA, BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE — In the warmth of Ramadan twilight, RPTRA Matahari Cempaka Putih witnessed meaningful togetherness and care. The Defense Journalists Forum (Forwahan) sincerely held an “Iftar Together, Orphan and Dhuafa Charity” event on Saturday, March 15, 2025, as a tangible manifestation of love for those in need.
The event, which began at 16.30 WIB, brought happiness to 75 orphans and 25 dhuafa from RW 1, 3, and 4 of Cempaka Putih Timur Village, as well as Yayasan Melati and Al Ikhlas Cempaka Putih Timur Mosque. The atmosphere was warmed by the smiles and enthusiasm of the children who received the donation.
As a form of support for their education, compensation is given in the form of cash and school supplies. Hopefully, this assistance can encourage the orphans in studying and achieving a better future.
This blessed activity was held thanks to the generosity of donors, including: KH Ir Marsudi, MSc; Kadispen Pushidrosal; Cleo; Teh Leni Catering; Hoka-Hako Bento; Arandra Resident, and other concerned parties.
The Chief Executive, Muhammad Irvan, expressed his gratitude and thanks to all those who have contributed. “Hopefully this activity will bring blessings to all, and foster a sense of caring and togetherness among us,” he said. He also hoped that Forwahan will be more advanced and solid in organizing social activities in the future.
One of the donor representatives also expressed his happiness, “This event is very positive and should be continued every year. In addition to sharing, this activity is also a motivation for children to be more active in learning and reciting the Quran during the month of Ramadan.”
This moment was made even more special by a lecture from KH Soleh Hasri and the presence of the Head of Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village, Amadeo, along with several local RW heads, Central Jakarta Police Public Relations, and Cempaka Putih Police. Their presence added enthusiasm and showed real support for this social activity.
“I really appreciate this Forwahan activity, because it benefits orphans and poor people, the majority of whom are residents of Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village. Hopefully this assistance will bring benefits to those who receive it, as well as blessings to the donors in this holy month,” said Amadeo.
Furthermore, he hopes that activities like this will continue in the future. “Hopefully there will be more events that can benefit the community. In addition, we, together with Forwahan, are also committed to jointly fight against brawls and drug abuse, which often increase during Ramadan.”
