FLORENCE, ITALY, BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE – Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino insisted his team was ready to mobilize all the abilities of the real calf in the second leg of the Conference League semifinal at Artemio Franchi Stadium, Florence, early Friday WIB.
Quoted from the club’s official website on Thursday, Palladino said that if Fiorentina had to perform better than the first leg because of the score 1-2 at home to Real Betis.
“We can and have to perform better than the first leg. We made some mistakes for 90 minutes. However, the players were excited and with our fans, we would give everything to fight the calves tomorrow,” Palladino said.
The Italian coach explained that Fiorentina had to appear kicked off from the beginning of the match to give difficulties to Real Betis.
Even though it has been done, Palladino realizes that it will not be easy, especially since Real Betis is a tough team with quality players.
“It is important for us to start the game well and show determination, but we also have to be wise enough not to rush and pay attention to every small detail,” Palladino explained.
“Betis is a great team with high-quality players. Anyone who plays, we must be very careful,” he added.
In line with Palladino, midfielder Fiorentina Rolando Mandragora said that when facing a team like Real Betis, they must be able to play smart and win every duel that occurs.
“Tomorrow we will play in front of our fans, and we are very proud to play in front of a full stadium. Many things will depend on our attitude. We will do whatever we can to get into the final again,” explained Mandragora.
In the conference league semi-final second leg match, Fiorentina was required to win by a difference of two goals to ensure that they qualified for the final.
