JAKARTA, INDONESIA (BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE) — Podcaster Michael Sinaga visited the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police regarding the case of fake diploma accusations reported by the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
“As a good citizen, I got a summons for clarification, so yes, I came,” he said when he met with the Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Wednesday.
Michael also denied being absent from the first call. He admitted that he was unable to come because he did not want to.
“I was absent, he said, wow. That’s very heavy. I immediately confirmed via WhatsApp to the number listed, and I said I had another promise that day,” he said.
When confirmed regarding the summons regarding the clarification of the accusation of a fake Jokowi diploma, he said it was not related to the case.
“Actually, at his invitation, there were no words on his invitation. Only clarifying the events on March 26 reported by Mr. Ir Joko Widodo,” Michael said.
Michael said he also did not know about his summons to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police because he had not yet finished and entered the break.
“So, I ask and have not been explained by investigators or investigators, what is on March 26 that I have to clarify, has not yet reached there,” he said.
“Hopefully, after the ‘break’, I immediately asked what happened on March 26,” he said.
Previously, the Jakarta Police said that two witnesses were not present to fulfill the investigator’s summons in the alleged fake diploma of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Friday (9/5).
“There were two witnesses who were called, namely the initials MS and the US. US Witnesses had no confirmation, but MS witnesses had confirmed that they could not attend,” said the Head of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Sub-Division, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP) Reonald Simanjuntak when met in Jakarta, Monday (12/5).
