Jakarta (BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE) — The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted a search at Hanan Supangkat’s residence in Intercon Housing, Taman Kebon Jeruk, Srengseng, Kembangan, West Jakarta on Wednesday (06/03/2024) at 9:30 PM local time.
The KPK officers conducting the search at Hanan’s house numbered 12 and arrived at the location with three black cars. They entered the house with the number J12-2 carrying two suitcases.
Hanan’s house gate was closely guarded by several police officers. As of 10:30 PM local time, the KPK officers had not yet emerged from Hanan’s house.
Previously, Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators stated that Hanan Supangkat was questioned by KPK investigators as a witness in a case of alleged money laundering (TPPU) involving former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL).
“Investigators are delving into the witness’s knowledge, including regarding communication between the witness and SYL. In addition, confirmation is also sought regarding information alleging the existence of his projects at the Ministry of Agriculture,” said KPK Public Information Head Ali Fikri when contacted in Jakarta on Monday (04/03/2024).
Ali explained that the questioning of the CEO of PT Mulia Knitting Factory and former Chairman of the Ferrari Owners Club Indonesia (FOCI) took place on Friday (01/03/2024).
However, Ali did not provide further details on what findings the investigative team had in that interrogation.
“The witness’s statement clarifies the allegations against SYL, and the investigative team is currently continuing to gather all information related to proving the allegations of money laundering,” said Ali.
