TANGERANG, BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE – Minister of Population and Family Development (Mendukbangga)/Head of BKKBN, Wihaji, monitors the distribution of free nutritious food (MBG) for pregnant and breastfeeding women in Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency, Banten.
“Today we want to see the distribution of MBG to pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and non-educational children (PAUD) according to the direction of President Prabowo,” Wihaji said in Tigaraksa, Tangerang on Monday.
In his observation, Minister Wihaji admitted that he first conducted monitoring in the Tigaraksa Regency Nutrition Fulfillment Services Unit (SPPG) on Jalan Kongsi RT 5/3, accompanied by Tangerang Regent Rudy Maesyal, Chairman of the PKK of Tinawati Province, Andra Soni, and other ranks.
“I want to ensure that the menu delivered is ready. The menu for pregnant women, breastfeeding, and non-PAUD children is different from that given to students. Starting from the content of protein and carbohydrates. The results are all following the provisions,” said Minister Wihaji.
After the Tigaraksa SPPB, Minister Wihaji went to the location of MBG, giving clothes to breastfeeding mothers in Tegal Village, RT 3/5 clothes using a motorcycle.
“This is to adjust the task of cadres who later provide food using motorbikes to the home of pregnant and breastfeeding women. Because it is impossible to gather in one location,” he said.
After giving symbolic and field monitoring, Minister Wihaji said that all provinces are currently conducting trials of giving MBGs for pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-PAUD children.
“We are targeting 10 percent of the recipient data in each region to get this MBG trial. Later, we can evaluate what the shortcomings are,” he said.
Sri Astuti, one of the MBG recipients, admitted that he had received the healthy food twice from the cadres. “First, when I was pregnant last week, and now while breastfeeding. There is also assistance from the province,” Sri said while carrying her baby.
