JAKARTA, INDONESIA (BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE) — Bekasi Metro Police City Police arrested the “Mata Elang” gang (called a debt collector) who intimidated and forcibly took a car from a student with the initials ARP (19) in Bekasi City.
“We have arrested five perpetrators,” said Kasat Reskrim Metro Bekasi Police, Kompol Binsar Hatorangan Sianturi, when confirmed in Bekasi on Saturday.
Binsar explained that the perpetrators had whose initials, Gel, MA, M, and SA, were currently undergoing examinations at the Bekasi City Metro Police Headquarters.
“We are still deepening the perpetrators,” he said.
Binsar added that the incident occurred on Thursday (4/20). The reporter in this case was the victim’s uncle as the car owner said the car was loaned by the reporter to the victim.
The victim was going to one of the shopping centers. Based on information to the police, the victim was suddenly visited by a number of people who claimed to be Debt Collectors (Debt Collector Services), “he said.
The victim claimed to be intimidated by the perpetrators until they were forced to sign the handover note of the vehicle. Finally, the car was taken away by the perpetrators.
Previously also circulated a ploaded by the Instagram account @Bekasi24jamcom, in which a group of people surrounded the vehicle owner and allegedly forced him to hand over the vehicle key.
