JAKARTA, BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE – Police arrested four debt collectors (Debt Collector) who often troubled residents or road users in the Cengkareng region, West Jakarta.
Cengkareng Police Chief Commissioner Abdul Jana said the arrest was a follow-up to the number of public reports related to the activities Debt Collector who allegedly forcibly withdrew motorized vehicles on the road.
“We do this operation on an ongoing basis. Today, we managed to secure four people who claimed to be Debt Collectors, and we immediately brought it to the Cengkareng Police Station for further data collection and coaching, “Abdul said when confirmed on Wednesday.

Abdul explained that after being in Cengkareng, the operation continued to Jalan Daan Mogot in the direction of Grogol and Tangerang, Cengkareng red light, Kamal Highway, and Ring Road Golf Lake highway.
“Patrol officers actively combed the area to detect suspicious activity,” Abdul said.
Abdul hopes that with the operation, the community will become safer and no longer worried about the vehicle withdrawal action that is not following legal procedures.
“We also urge the public not to hesitate to report any acts of thuggery or illegal levies that occur in their environment,” he added.
