This disaster makes many people to save themselves and their valuables to a safer place. In addition, for Muslims praying is also a way to calm the heart as well as asking for protection from Allah SWT.

The earthquake was seen as a warning, as well as a reminder that humans always closer to the Creator. Therefore, reading prayers when the earthquake is considered important to face the test.

When an earthquake occurs, Muslims are encouraged to read the prayer of protection, dhikr, or verses of the Qur’an to ask for salvation and forgiveness of sins.

اللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا ف above شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيْهَا وَشَرِّ مَا أَرْسَلْتَ بِهِ

ALLHUMMA INNî Origin Khairaha wa Khaira mâ fîhâ, wa khaira mâ arsalta bihi, wa a’ûdzubika min syarrihâ, wa syarri mâ fîhâ wa syarri mâ arsalta bihi bihi

Meaning: “O God, I actually ask for your presence of goodness for what happened, and what kindness in it, and good for what you sent with this incident. And I ask for protection to you from bad for what happened, and bad for what happened in it, and I also ask for protection to you for what you sent.”

يا أرض ربي وربك الله ، أعnk

Yes Ardhu Robbi wa Rabbukallah, A’udubillahi Min Sarrika Wamin Sarri MA Fiika, Wamin Sarri MAA Huliqa Fika Wamin Sarri Maa Yadibbu ‘Alaika.

Meaning: “O earth, my Lord and your Lord are God. I take refuge in God rather than your ugliness, rather than the bad contained in you, rather than the bad created contained in you, and rather than the badness that is smothered on your basis”.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ وَفُجَا favorite سَخَطِكَ

Allahumma inni a’udzubika min zawaali ni’matika, wa tahawwuli ‘aafiyatika wa fujaati ni’atima wa jami’i sakhotika.

Meaning: O God, I take refuge in You from the loss of your blessings, and from the transfer of salvation that you give, and from your torture that comes suddenly, and from all your angry.

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمpet

ROBBANA DHOLAMNA ANFUSANA WA INLAM TAGHFIRLANAA WA TARHAMNAA LANDANNA MINAL KHOSIRIN.

Meaning: “O our Lord, we have wronged ourselves. If you do not forgive us and give mercy to us, surely we are among those who lose”.
