Regent of Bandung Awards “Kadeudeuh” to Outstanding Athletes in Popda XIII and Paperda III 2023 West Java
Bandung Regency (BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE) — Through the Department of Youth and Sports (Dispora), the Regent of Bandung, HM. Dadang Supriatna, awarded “Kadeudeuh” to athletes who achieved remarkable success in Popda XIII and Paperda III 2023 West Java. The Chairman of Bapopsi Bandung Regency, Indra Gunawan, welcomed the gesture as a form of appreciation.
“The distribution of ‘Kadeudeuh’ is a form of recognition and gratitude to the coaches and student athletes who fought in these events,” said Indra Gunawan as reported by Bedanews.com. He hoped that this award would motivate athletes and coaches to continue developing their potential in various activities.
Although the award came a bit late, Indra believed that the achievements of Bandung Regency athletes deserved recognition. He expressed pride in the dedication and hard work of the athletes who trained every day to achieve their best.
Indra also congratulated Dr. Ir. Erwin Rinaldi, M. Sc., who recently assumed the position of Dispora official, hoping that he would continue the work left by his predecessor, Ir. H. Kawaludin.
The distribution of “Kadeudeuh” also served as an introduction for the Regent to some of the sports figures in Bandung Regency. Indra hoped that the spirit to revive sports in Bandung Regency would increase in accordance with the slogan of Bandung Regency “BEDAS” (Rising, Educative, Dynamic, Religious, and Prosperous).
Meanwhile, Indra also expressed gratitude to all parties who contributed to the success of the Popda and Paperda events, including Bapopsi and NPCI of Bandung Regency. He hoped that in future events, the achievements of Bandung Regency athletes could continue to be improved for the pride of the local community.
