JAKARTA, BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE —Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police (Soetta) did not hold the male artist with the initials JF (Jonathan Frizzy) in the case of “liquid vape” (electronic cigarette) containing ethomidate drugs because the condition was sick.
“The person concerned was not detained because he was sick. However, it was required to report while providing the opportunity for recovery and control of postoperative doctors,” Kasat Resnarkoba AKP Michael Tandayu said in his statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Michael explained that JF had been named a suspect related to the case of pharmaceutical products without permission, type “Catridge POD”, containing liquid containing ethomidate or hard drugs.
“JF was not detained after undergoing an examination as a suspect on Monday (5/5) afternoon until 20:00 WIB,” he said.
Artist JF, during the examination as a witness or suspect, was cooperative.
Meanwhile, Soetta Airport Police Chief Commissioner Pol Ronald Sipayung said, the determination of suspects against JF was the result of the development of three suspects who had previously been secured in March-April 2025.
“JF was named a suspect after undergoing an examination as a witness, and the results of the case title,” he said.
Three suspects who have been secured in advance of each man with the initials BTR (26), Woman ER (34), and EDS (37). JF (43) is currently being intensively examined by investigators to determine depends on being detained or vice versa.
Ronald explained, the suspect BTR was arrested in Makassar and played a role in taking and carrying a “cartridge pod” containing liquid containing ethomidate from Malaysia into Indonesia (courier).
ER suspect was also arrested in Makassar. ER, who told the suspect BTR to take and bring “Catridge Pod” and joined the WhatsApp group “Depart”.
Meanwhile, the suspect EDS, who was arrested in Jakarta, was the person who provided a “cartridge pod” containing liquid containing Ethomidate, and also incorporated in the WhatsApp group “Depart” containing ER and the suspect JF.
Furthermore, the suspect JF has a role as the person who contacted the EDS suspect to buy the “Catridge Pod”.
In addition, JF also provides a courier, prepares, monitors, and facilitates the pickup of “Catridge POD”.
