JAKARTA, CAKRAWALA.CO – In celebration of the 15th Anniversary of the TKSK (Social Welfare Workforce) at the DKI Jakarta Social Office on Friday (11/10/2024), Ari Sonjaya, representing the Head of the Social Service Office, delivered a speech highlighting TKSK’s crucial role in addressing social issues within the community. The event took place in the Communication Room of the DKI Jakarta Social Service Building.
“TKSK has played a vital role in identifying, facilitating, and providing services to those in need, significantly contributing to social welfare improvement in DKI Jakarta,” stated Ari. He emphasized the importance of synergy between TKSK, the Social Service, and other relevant institutions to ensure social programs are effectively executed and appropriately targeted.
Asep Hamdi, S.Pd, Chairman of the TKSK Coordination Forum for DKI Jakarta, expressed gratitude to everyone who supported TKSK throughout its 15-year journey. Although the actual anniversary fell on October 9, this celebration occured on October 11, 2024. Asep commended the Social Service, Social Affairs Heads, and all those who contributed to the social service activities, adding, “Let’s reach those who are unreached and touch the untouchable,” emphasizing TKSK’s mission of enhancing social welfare.
The organizing committee head, Ida Roesmanida, reported the various social activities conducted during the celebration, including donations to 15 orphans from the Senen and Kemayoran Districts, and aid for individuals with disabilities. Social workers and TKSK personnel also received appreciation hampers for their dedication.
The event featured special moments such as a traditional “tumpeng” rice cone-cutting ceremony, a religious sermon, and prayers, providing spiritual motivation for the TKSK as they continue their noble work. Congratulations came from notable figures, including national leader Anies Baswedan and Andri Santosa, Secretary of the Golkar Party’s DKI Jakarta Legislative Council faction.
Ari Sonjaya, Secretary of the Social Service, added in his speech that the role of TKSK has become even more crucial, especially with the new regulations under Law No. 2 of 2024 regarding Jakarta’s special status. “I hope TKSK can innovate and improve its capacity to support Jakarta’s transformation into a global city with a special status. Learn and understand the law, and collaborate with the local government to prepare a more advanced Jakarta,” he said.
Special recognition was given to TKSK cadres who have served for 15 years (2009–2024). The awardees include:
– West Jakarta: Marhasan, Muhamad Sidik
– North Jakarta: Wantoro, Rosmani
– South Jakarta: Ida Roesmanida, Dani Rohyati, Ir Siti Amaria, Dewi Mardiyanti, Muhamad Yusup
– East Jakarta: Hernawati, Dwi, Tuin, Lina Marlina, Siti Jauharia
– Central Jakarta: Irmayani, Dadang Saleh, Puspita Sari, Suyatun
The 15th Anniversary event was attended by Heads of Social Affairs Divisions & Sub-District Offices from Jakarta’s five administrative regions, the Ministry of Social Affairs’ Community Empowerment Directorate General’s Chief of Staff, Special Staff Member Hj. Fahira Idris, and other key figures from Jakarta’s social service organizations.
This social service event is hoped to serve as a stepping stone for TKSK DKI Jakarta to continue bringing hope and welfare to those in need. This spirit of togetherness lays a strong foundation for a brighter future for all Jakarta residents. (sdk)
