Jakarta (BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE) — Following the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) on Monday, April 22, 2024, the Presidential Candidate Pair Number 02, Prabowo-Gibran, received congratulations from various parties, including Presidential Candidate Pair Number 01, Anies Baswedan – Muhaimin Iskandar, and Presidential Candidate Pair Number 03, Ganjar Pranowo – Mahfud. Many others also conveyed their congratulations to the pair, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
Zainudin MH., SE., known as Haji Oding, Chairman of the Bamus Suku Betawi 1982, conveyed congratulations and wishes for success to the Pair Number 02, who have been lawfully elected and appointed as the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. Haji Oding is a prominent figure in the Betawi community and the Director of “Betawi RPG,” which declared support for Pair Number 02.
“Once again, we, the Bamus Suku Betawi 1982, extend our congratulations to Mr. Prabowo Subianto and Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for 2024-2029,” said Haji Oding.
When leading the declaration of support from Betawi Volunteers at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Haji Oding and his colleagues were asked by the TKN to ensure the victory of Prabowo-Gibran in DKI Jakarta.
“Alhamdulillah, thanks to the cooperation of all, that promise has been fulfilled,” expressed Haji Oding.
According to Haji Oding, the 2024 Presidential Election was a showcase or demonstration of Indonesia’s maturity in democracy to the world. The 2024 elections were generally conducted in accordance with the principles of modern democracy.
Betawi Volunteers for Prabowo-Gibran (Betawi RPG) call for reconciliation among all Indonesian people, especially the Betawi community, to uphold unity, solidarity, and brotherhood among fellow citizens for a better, stronger, more prosperous Indonesia towards Indonesia Emas 2045.
Similar sentiments were expressed by the Chairman of the Betawi Prabowo Gibran Volunteers (RPG Betawi), Mohamad Ihsan or Bang Ihsan, who is also the Chairman of FORKABI, stating that with the final and binding decision of the MK, all citizens must immediately engage in reconciliation to strengthen national unity in anticipation of Indonesia’s beloved future.
“The MK decision is final and binding, the 2024 Presidential Election is over. We are grateful that there is no significant conflict, especially in Jakarta, although the atmosphere was quite tense, but all parties managed to control themselves, so there were no clashes. It’s time to join hands again,” said Bang Ihsan.
Bang Ichsan reminded the people of Jakarta to prepare themselves for the first regional elections not as the capital of RI. According to Bang Ichsan, the challenges ahead will be even more difficult, as Jakarta becomes a global city, where the level of competition will undoubtedly be higher. He emphasized that the Betawi community should not just be spectators, as they may lose competitiveness to other global communities.
“To Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Gibran, we, the Betawi community, extend our congratulations on carrying out the mandate of the people as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. We believe that the Betawi community fully supports the new national leadership. Conversely, we also believe that the President and Vice President are fully concerned about the Betawi community,” concluded Bang Ihsan.
