JAKARTA, INDONESIA (BERITAPOLITIK.ONLINE) — The Criminal Investigation Unit (Criminal Investigation) of the North Jakarta Tanjung Priok Sector Police arrested the persecution of siblings, with the initials S (47) because of the inheritance problem in North Jakarta and had escaped for two months.
“S was arrested on Jalan Ancol Selatan, Sunter Agung Tanjung Priok Village on Thursday (21/8),” said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kanit Reskrim) Tanjung Priok Police Station AKP Handam Samudro in Jakarta, Friday.
According to him, the perpetrators were charged under Article 351 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) regarding the persecution that caused serious injuries and was threatened with a maximum of five years.
“The victim suffered a kind of sharp punch wound in the head twice. At present the perpetrators have been languishing in Tanjung Priok Police Station for examination,” he said.
The victim is the sibling of the perpetrator with the initials US (51). The perpetrators had escaped and entered into the People’s Search List (DPO) for two months.
He said the criminal action occurred on Thursday (6/19), while S was walking around Jalan Ancol Selatan, Sunter Agung Village, Tanjung Priok. Then the victim ran into the perpetrator who was riding a motorcycle.
After seeing the victim, the perpetrator went down to take the sharp tool in the seat of his motorcycle, then the perpetrator hit the victim’s head using a tool that was stored on his motorcycle.
According to him, the persecution was carried out by the perpetrators because of the quarrel related to the struggle for inheritance between the perpetrators and victims.
“The perpetrator who is the younger sister of the victim has prepared ax in his motorcycle seat,” he said.
He said the victim suffered severe injuries to the head to get two incisions on his head.
“The victim’s wound on the head, there are two head points on the head that have been sewn by medical,” he said.
He explained the results of the examination of his motives related to family problems because of the quarrel of the distribution of rights to houses or buildings.
The perpetrator deliberately brought ax on his motorcycle while working as a motorcycle mechanic every day and when he passed the victim, he immediately took the ax and persecuted.
“The perpetrators were arrested not far from the scene after being fugitive for a few months,” he said.
